The second race of the XVI Park Piolets Andorra's mountain skiing cup arrives: the 3 Fronteras MoraBanc Dynafit trophy. The fifth edition of this race, which is part of the vertical category of the Cup, seeks to become the "Sant Silvestre of the morning on skis", as Arnau Anguera, member of the ski club Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig, pointed out.
Like all the races of the XXVI Park Piolets Andorra's mountain skiing cup, the 3 Fronteras MoraBanc Dynafit trophy will have 4 categories, children (12 to 14 years), cadet (15 to 17 years), junior (18 to 20 years) and senior (+21) and the subcategory of "veterans" for those who will turn 40 in 2018.
This year two routes are proposed. The itinerary A that has 700m of gradient and the itinerary B with 500m of gradient in which the categories Junior F, Cadet M and F and Infantile will participate. The two routes will begin at the bottom of the Grau Roig station, more precisely on the Coma Blanca chairlift and will end at the top of Montmalús, at 2780m altitude.
Program:
8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.: Delivery of numbers at the Pas de la Casa Ski Club Area (Cubil area, Grau Roig). Along with the numbera map of the route will be given.
10h00: Material Control Opening
10h25: "Briefing" of the race in the starting area (Coma Blanca Chairlift)
10:30: Start for all categories
12:30: Award ceremony and a snack for all participants
You have until December 29th at 12PM to register and participate in the last mountain ski race of the year, saying goodbye to 2017 in the best way.
