It’s up to you.
Let yourself be carried away by the energy of the dogs that will pull a two-seater sled to take you to secret corners in the Andorran mountains.
Take the reins of your sleigh and walk through the snowy woods in search of breathtaking scenery or simply relax and let a musher drive for you. You can practice this activity with friends, as a couple or as a family. And if you like animals, you'll enjoy it even more!
Still don't know what mushing is?
It is estimated that they started practicing this activity around 2000 BC, and that the Siberian and North American native tribes used sleds pulled by dogs to transport goods. In 1534, the Canadian Gaspé peninsula was invaded by French troops. To calm the tensions between the colonizers and the Iroquois tribes, some French people stayed to live in order to learn their language and culture. It was at that moment that the first European mushers appeared who later brought this sport to the old continent.
This practice is a form of transport, especially used in Nordic countries, in which dogs (usually of the husky race) are used to move through snowy areas. Currently, mushing is also a competitive sport, as in the Pirena event, but above all, a fun and different mountain activity.
You're surely already looking forward to living this experience for yourself ...
And after a day in the snow practicing various activities, return to your room located a few meters from the ski area of Grandvalira, change and relax in our Mountain Spa or recharge batteries in our buffet.
