Home Experiences Winter Snow activities

Because enjoying experiences and activities in the snow doesn’t mean you have to practise downhill skiing, snowboarding or any other discipline. You'd be surprised by how many people are increasingly booking their holidays at the foot of a ski resort, with no intention of actually putting on skis. In most cases, someone in the group or family will be a skier, but for everyone else a world of fun will open up with snow as the common denominator.

The world's leading ski resorts have long been offering fun alternative activities to skiing, and Andorra's ski resorts are no exception. Grandvalira, Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal have snow activities so you can enjoy your winter getaway or holiday without having to put on skis and glide down the slopes.

In Grandvalira, you can choose from a wide range of activities such as snowshoeing, snowmobiling and mushing (dog sledding). But there are also other more recreational options, where fun is guaranteed.

Here are the activities you can do in the Soldeu sector of Grandvalira, but also in the rest of the resort's sectors, all of which are very close to the hotel (especially Grau Roig, where the biggest range of snow experiences is concentrated). And if you fancy a trip to the valleys in the north of Andorra, don't forget that Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal have fun options for enjoying the snow in a different way.
