Easter can be the perfect time to enjoy family skiing on the slopes of Grandvalira. But if it is the first time that the youngest go to the snow, they will need some basic notions that will allow them to discover how fun this sport is.
But, can parents do it or is it better to hire a monitor?
The best slopes
The ski domain of Grandvalira has several areas adapted to the needs of the youngest and specially designed for children to have fun while skiing.
In Grau-Roig, the Imaginarium program offers the perfect option to combine skiing, adventure activities and games, to make their day in the snow a very special one. In the Pas de la Casa sector, El Bosque Encantat is opening this season, a new children's area where they will find the characters of Imaginarium among trees and mushrooms. In the Encamp Sector, Imaginarium proposes the Super Tunnel circuit, whereby the youngest ones will travel a tunnel 10 meters long.
In the sector of the Tarter, the youngest can begin learning any form of ski in the zone of Bababoom Circus surrounded by the most typical personages of the circus.
In Canillo, the circuit Mon(t) Màgic proposes a complete family experience, set in the legends of Andorra and the magical beings that inhabit this area. An original and funny proposal that has the particularity of having 3 differentiated zones for learning (initiation, progression and high ski level) and with the longest children's theme track in southern Europe.
If we want our children to like ski as much as we do, it is very important that they learn in a playful way. That's why opting for a monitor is the best option. Even if we have a high level, we may not have the patience to teach them little by little everything they have to do, or we can even get nervous every time they fall.
The more than 400 Grandvalira monitors are prepared to face these situations and can make of their first day in the snow a fun-filled experience.
And after an intense day of skiing, recover together the forces in our Mountain Spa. Between 16h00 and 19h00 we open its doors to children from 0 years to enjoy a family spa afternoon in the water or try some of the treatments for children we have created especially for them.
Enjoy with your family the Easter Break in Andorra with the Piolets Park & Spa Hotel and spend some unforgettable days together in the snow.
