Family reunions, business dinners, outings with friends ... the Christmas holidays always lead us to eat a little more than normal, and to be more gluttonous.
That is why it is normal that we have accumulated a few extra pounds that now we want to get rid of them.
We propose you a series of exercises to burn fat and recover the weight you had before Christmas.
A little cardio to start
Begin your training by killing two birds with one stone: heating your muscles and burning calories. You can achieve this by doing 20 or 30 minutes of cardio: either running, on a bicycle or with the help of an elliptical machine, with which you will work out with both arms and legs.
Up and down
Another classic exercise after these dates is squatting, with which you will work your legs and your buttocks. To do them, you only have to separate the legs, aligning them with your shoulders, and lower your torso keeping it straight and avoiding joining the knees. And as soon as your buttocks are lower than your knees, go back up and repeat!
Either with a machine, a platform between 10 and 20cm -according to your level- or some stairs, the steps are also a good option to burn fat. You simply have to position yourself in front of the steps and go up and down quickly. To this exercise you can add variants to make it more complete like using your arms, flexing the two legs ...
Don’t stop now!
And the most complete moment of the routine arrives ... the "burpees"! Lower your body as if you were doing a squat, bring your hands to the floor and stretch your legs. Once finished, bring your feet back to your hands, and get up by jumping upwards while stretching your arms.
Finally, finish the routine with a classic abdominal to lower the pace of the session without stopping to exercise. Lie down on the floor, lift the nape of the neck a little, bend and slightly spread the knees and raise your torso carrying it towards your legs.
Now that you know the main exercises with which you can leave behind the excesses of this Christmas, put on your sport clothes and move!
And so you don’t have to stop training during your gateway to Andorra, at Park Piolets you have a fitness room where you can exercise at over 1,850m altitude. Have you tried it already?
