This weekend we will inaugurate the new ski season. If you are already waiting impatiently on Saturday 30 November, here you have the news announced from Grandvalira on its news and improvements. Come and see them all on December's bank holiday, you'll surely love them!
A new sector and more tracks
Very close to the hotel, after Soldeu but before reaching Grau Roig, Grandvalira has created a new access to tracks in Peretol. It continues to be famous for its Sunset Park, but it will now also allow you access to the resort, integrating 7 new slopes to the ski offer of the ski station.
Improved access and infrastructure
Last year, on the occasion of the Alpine Ski World Cup finals, a platform was created over the river Valira to improve the arrival of the Avet track in Soldeu. Now it has been converted into an area for beginners where there is also a snow garden, a tapestry and a ski lift for beginners. The lower floors houses a car park with a capacity of up to 450 spaces.
New activities for young and old
This season Grandvalira surprises us with a new proposal, which is also very close to the hotel, in the sector of Soldeu. The “Snake Gliss” it's about going down an entire track on sleds driven by a monitor. And it's not just for children! Adults will also be able to accompany their children in this new experience. In addition, access is only possible when the slopes are closed and there are no more skiers left.
From this year onwards, children aged 3 and over will be able to begin snowboarding in the ski schools of Tarter, Canillo and Soldeu with an innovative programme adapted to their age.
Would you like to be one of the first to come to discover all the Grandvalira novelties for this season? Book our offer with hotel at the foot of the slopes and ski-pass. In addition, we will also surprise you! This year we have reformed our spa, so when you come do not miss the new Park Spa Mountain Wellness Club.
