What is Kundalini Yoga?
Or also called Yoga of consciousness or energetic yoga. It is a very complete technique that makes mind and body work through breathing, asanas (postures) and meditation.
It differs mainly from other disciplines such as Hatha or Ashtanga in the fact that meditation and relaxation are very important in Kundalini Yoga. This discipline is also known as energetic Yoga, since when practicing it a great amount of energy moves, or as Yoga of consciousness since its purpose is to awaken the energy that is in the lower part of the back (which receives the name of Kundalini)
What characterizes Kundalini Yoga
Through breathing exercises or prana, we seek to release or to awaken the Chakras (our energy points distributed through the upper body, in a straight line from the pelvis to the brain). The different positions (Asanas) that are adopted during the class, allow us to work on our spine, and as a result it strengthens and gains flexibility. In addition, at the muscular level, the whole body is worked on: its toning, its flexibility and the strength of the muscles. Finally, thanks to meditation (repeating a mantra) we will activate our energy center, located at the top of the head).

- As we have pointed out previously, the exercises series of the Kundalini allow to improve the flexibility. By stretching the muscles and training the balance the flexibility capacity is increased, the resistance is improved and muscle strength is gained
- By working flexibility and resistance, we managed to also improve our posture and correct it. For this reason, it can be very beneficial in case of back pain or as a supplement for the recovery of injuries
