This summer the fun is back in Andorra! Discover all the sporting events that will take place with their dates and locations so that you don't miss a thing. After a year without competitions, skiing or mass events, we're back to enjoying sport. But always keeping in mind the anti-covid safety and hygiene rules.
The Ironman 70.3: for the first time in Andorra
Triathlon comes to the Principality on 4 July. The 1.9 km swim will take place in Engolasters Lake. The road cycling race will cover 90.1 km, crowning the Port de la Peguera and the mythical Coll de la Gallina, famous for hosting races in the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. The 21.1 km foot race will take place in Andorra la Vella, a challenging event!
The novelty: a crossfit competition
In Andorra, cycling and trail running races are more common, but it is no secret that crossfit is a trend. It is gaining more and more followers all over the world and there are already countless events around this discipline. This year, a Fitness Challenge League event will be held at Prat del Roure in Escaldes-Engordany. This sporting event takes place near the sea and for the first time it will take place in the country for some 150 teams to compete against each other.

Tour de France incorporates a final stage finish in the Principality
5 years after its last visit to the country, the Tour de France will return to Andorra on July the 11th. Our cycling-loving guests are lucky because it will come through Pas de la Casa and pass through Soldeu in front of the hotel so you will be able to see the riders up close. The stage will finish in Andorra la Vella, after reaching the Coll de Beixalís at 1,790 metres, which will be the highest point of the day. After a rest day, the 16th stage will leave Pas de la Casa on 13 July in the direction of Saint-Gaudens.
A cycling tour: Multisegur volta als ports 2021
If you're a cycling fan, you've probably already heard of this classic road bike race. This year it has been completely renovated and new routes have been added, offering a total of 5 circuits for all levels. The 18 of July is the date for this cyclotourist race.
The Skyrace Comapedrosa: reaching the highest peak in Andorra
Another well-known event, but in the trail running discipline. The race starts in Arinsal and finishes at the top of Andorra, the Comapedrosa peak at an altitude of 2942 metres. On July the 24th participants will see first hand the beautiful landscapes of the country and the marvellous views at the finish.
La Mussara Andorra MBT
Mountain biking also has its place this summer. Naturlandia will host a mountain biking competition on 1 August: the Mussara Andorra MBT. If you like this sport, you can't miss this event in which, in addition to testing yourself, you can also enjoy the landscapes and views of the Rabassa forests.
