Discover five viewpoints to photograph the best panoramic views of Andorra's mountain and nature landscapes.

If on your summer holidays you are one of those who like to discover new places, you love photography and Instagram: you are in the perfect country. Andorra offers its visitors endless experiences and among them the possibility of discovering spectacular natural landscapes. There are three viewpoints that you can easily reach by car and two others recently introduced in Andorra.

Enjoy the views and take a nice souvenir with you in your camera!

The Roc del Quer
It has a 20-metre walkway and part of it is suspended in the air, giving you the sensation of flying over the whole valley. It is partially suspended in the air, giving you the feeling of being over the whole valley. At the end of the walkway you will see the sculpture of the Thinker, which is probably the most photographed figure in Andorra nowadays. From here you can admire spectacular views over the entire town of Canillo and its valley, the Casamanya peak and the Montaup valley, as well as other peaks and mountains. Of course the landscape is dyed green in summer and white in winter and it is amazing to see the change of seasons from here. It is located in Canillo 20 minutes from the hotel and can be reached by car. Then you can follow the road to get to Ordino, in the other valley. It is one of the most visited towns in Andorra for its charm and you can also make some magnificent photos.

The viewpoint of the camí de les fonts
It is located in Escaldes, before reaching the lake of Engolasters, in a beautiful stone path without slope with the marked circuit. You will have impressive panoramic views of the Romanesque church of San Miquel de Engolasters and the mountains surrounding this place. Going up you will also have points with good views of Escaldes and Andorra la Vella. Then, turn around and get to the lake where you can get some good snapshots. In 2019 and 2021, the surroundings of the Engolasters lake were the setting for the Land Art Biennial, which fuses works of art with nature. If you feel like walking more, you can go around the lake and head to the path of the Pardinas, to continue enjoying the landscape. It is a 3 km route that connects with Els Cortals de Encamp. An easy walk perfectly accessible for families (even with cart) and practically flat.

Juberri’s gardens
In this place, apart from enjoying  heart-stopping views you will have a great time, especially if you go with children. Do not miss these gardens populated by sculptures! Those that most attract attention are the ones of animals and mythological beings, scattered throughout the territory. But you will also find small reproductions of some churches in the country. This beautiful corner is located in Sant Julià de Lòria in the forest of La Rabassa by the access road to Naturland. Before arriving do not miss the beautiful villages of Juberri and Auvinyà, very authentic and following the typical construction of Andorra stone and wood.

The Tibetan bridge in Canillo
This summer, Andorra has inaugurated a Tibetan bridge in Canillo. It crosses the Vall del Riu, and is 603 metres long, during which you will walk at a height of 158 metres above the ground. The footbridge is at an altitude of 1,875 metres, so you can enjoy breathtaking views if you are not afraid of heights. Access is only by bus from the village of Canillo or from Roc del Quer (buses run every 20 minutes and are included in the entrance fee). When you arrive you will have to walk almost 1 kilometre to reach the bridge, where you can also take photos of the whole itinerary.
You have the possibility to buy a package that combines the Tibetan bridge with the viewpoint.

The Tristaina solar viewpoint
We head to Ordino to explore the last of the "photo sites" we want you to discover: the Tristaina solar viewpoint. It is a circular metal suspension structure 25 metres in diameter and 1.25 metres wide, suspended over the Peyreguils peak at an altitude of 2,700 metres. It is located in the Ordino-Arcalís ski resort and to get there you have to take the Tristaina cable car and then the Creussans chairlift, the first section takes 6 minutes and the second 15. Finally, you have to walk for about 20 minutes to reach the viewpoint and admire the views over the Tristaina lakes and the Ordino valley.

After exploring these wonderful corners, we wait for you in the hotel. Enjoy the sunset over the Grandvalira mountains from our Moët & Chandon Terrace while you have an aperitif or cocktail before dinner.
We hope you like these tours and do not forget to tag your photos on Instagram with the hashtag #parkpiolets.
