How to choose ski lessons in Grandvalira according to your level?

Ski lessons are not just for learning: there are options to improve your technique too. Find out more here!

In Grandvalira you will find a wide variety of options for learning or perfecting your skiing technique. From individual or group classes to more exclusive alternatives. Adults, children and juniors all have their place here. The ski courses are not only focused on alpine skiing, you can also book classes to learn or improve your snowboarding, freestyle or freeride skills. In all cases, it is always a good option to hire this service.

Which course to choose according to your level?
Ski lessons are grouped by level so that all skiers learn at the same pace. You will ski with people who are in the same situation as you and always with professionals.
Beginners
If you are just a beginner in skiing, the best thing to do is to take some lessons. You will learn with trained instructors who will explain the basics from the start. It is important to know the technique and movements so that you can safely gain experience and avoid unnecessary injuries. Step by step, you will improve and feel confident enough to explore the easier and intermediate slopes at your own pace.
Intermediate level
This is your level if you already know how to ski and you want to improve your technique. At this stage it is also advisable to take skiing courses with Grandvalira's professionals so that you don't get stuck. They will help you progress so that even the most demanding slopes will not be difficult for you, while at the same time correcting any small mistakes you may have made.
Expert
Do you have a very good technique and have mastered skiing or snowboarding after years of practice? Now it's time to take the ski experience to the next level and book a few hours with an experienced guide. He will take you to all the areas of the resort, he will show you the best spots and you will enjoy skiing with him like a real professional.

Learning to ski and other disciplines
If you've never skied before, you have to start at the beginning. Grandvalira Resorts offers a wide variety of ski lessons to introduce you to or to improve your skills in white sports, such as alpine skiing, snowboarding, freeride and freestyle.

What types of classes are available?
In order to book the Grandvalira ski school programmes, you must first have your day or multi-day ski pass for the same dates.
Individual lessons
You can choose between different packages of 2, 6 and 10 hours in different time slots. These are personalised classes in small groups of a maximum of 6 people and adapted to the level of the skiers.
Group ski courses
Whenever possible, group lessons will be given in the desired language. Grandvalira Resorts offers the possibility of choosing a 3-hour class or packages of 3, 4 or 5 days, with 3 hours of lessons per day.
The Top Class
These are the most exclusive. You can choose between half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) Top Classes. Here you will be escorted by a professional instructor-guide who will adjust to you, to help you learn or improve your technique. The Top Class also includes a changing room with lockers, a snack for a break and filming. Depending on availability, they offer the possibility to try out test equipment, but you will always have to bring your own.
