Today we present 3 routes that you cannot miss this season during your trip to Andorra.
The Estany de les Abelletes
This lake, which forms a natural border between Andorra and France, is one of the best itineraries to get started in this sport, if you have never practiced it. It starts at the old border of Pas de la Casa and has a positive and negative grade of 175m. Normally, you will be able to complete this tour in a total of 2 hours: 1 hour of ascent and another one of descent.
Another route to choose if it is your first time in snowshoes, or if you are looking for a quiet stroll, is the one that surrounds the famous Bordes d'Envalira, typical constructions of Andorra.
This road starts in the forest of Moretó and has 3 kilometers of route during which you will find a lot of black pines.
The lakes of Pessons
And if you already have some experience in this sport, surely this incredible itinerary will have your attention. For 4 hours, you will walk along the largest granite glacier cirque in our small country, formed mainly by the nine lakes of Pessons.
A route of 9.47km in which you will face less than 500m of grade first rising gently and then slowly descending after reaching 2592m of altitude.
