CLÀSSICAND 2023
From 25th May to 9th June
Clàssicand is a music and performing arts event that will be held from 25 May to 9 June in different parts of Andorra, with international performances that will thrill you.
Programme of performances:
25/05/2024 at 20h30: the Spanish singer Pasión Vega will sing the soundtracks of the director from La Mancha Pedro Almodóvar in the show Pasión Almódovar, which will take place in the gardens of Ràdio Andorra (Encamp).
31/05/2024 at 8.30 pm: in the Plaça del Consell General in Andorra la Vella, the baroque orchestra Vespres d'Arnadí, with mezzo-soprano Helen Charslton, countertenor Xavier Sabata, tenor Juan Sancho and soprano Katharina Ruckgaber will put music and voice to Il Trionfo del Tempo y del Disinganno by G.F. Händel.
01/06/2024 at 20h: enjoy a piano duet by sisters Katia and Marielle Labèque at the Auditori Nacional d'Andorra in Ordino, with the Cocteau/Glass Trilogy.
02/06/2024 at 20h: relive the themes of the soundtracks of the Star Wars films and other hits by director John Williams with the Franz Schubert Filharmonia. This free open-air event will be held in the Santa Coloma car park in Andorra la Vella.
02/06/2024 at 12h: Harmonies of the 19th century, tribute to Gabriel Fauré and his successors is a concert by two Andorran artists, Míriam Manubens on piano and Carolina Bartumeu on cello, in the church of Sant Martí de la Cortinada (Ordino).
03/06/2024 at 20h: in the Sala dels Passos Perduts of the Casa de la Vall, Andorra la Vella, recital Forbidden Fuit of pieces from the lieder repertoire by the baritone Benjamin Appl.
07/06/2024 the dance company Stockholm 59th North, with dancers from the Royal Swedish Ballet, brings the choreography On the Nature of Rabbits, by Pontus Lidberg presented at the Venice Biennale in 2023. Free admission, in the Santa Coloma car park in Andorra la Vella.
08/06/2024 at 20h: at the Auditori Nacional d'Andorra in Ordino, the French actor Lambert Wilson, accompanied by Xavier de Maistre's harp, will review the work of Edgar Allan Poe.
09/06/2024 at 12 noon and 5 pm, in the capital's Teatre Comunal, there is a children's show with Miralls. A show that combines opera with dance, by the Petit Liceu with Factoria Mascaró.
09/06/2024 at 21h and 22h30, the ONCA and two vocalists present the Clàssic-end show of music, lights and water at the fountains of the roundabout in Andorra la Vella.
Finally, concert by the winner of the Andorra Sax Fest 2024. The name and dates will be revealed from 5 April 2024.
